This new report reveals the extent of cetacean (whales and dolphins) bycatch in the Indian Ocean tuna fisheries, and calls for increased observer coverage of all fisheries as well as electronic monitoring, port sampling and fishery-independent surveys. The report was authored by Dr. Charles Anderson, who is a member of the IPNLF Scientific & Technical Advisory Committee.
