Tania is working with IPNLF on its strategic growth, building the organization’s capacity and financial base to further its achievements in supporting socially and environmentally responsible one-by-one tuna fisheries around the world. Tania brings more than 15 years experience in sustainable seafood, marine conservation, and fundraising. She previously led the New England Aquarium’s sustainable seafood programs where she developed strong and lasting partnerships with diverse companies throughout the supply chain, including retailers, suppliers, and hospitality companies. She led corporate and foundation fundraising efforts over several years, bringing in millions of dollars to the program during her tenure. She has served as a board member for the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative and on the Steering Committee of the Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions. In addition to her work in seafood, Tania oversaw the Marine Conservation Action Fund at the New England Aquarium and previously led the operations of community-driven conservation research programs at Earthwatch Institute.
