Too Big To Ignore – Global Partnership for Small-Scale Fisheries Research (TBTI) is a global research network and knowledge mobilization partnership that focuses on addressing issues and concerns affecting viability and sustainability of small-scale fisheries. The overall aims of TBTI are to raise the profile of small-scale fisheries and reduce their marginalization, promote their wellbeing, and improve governance.
In partnership with a number of international and inter-governmental organisations from around the world, TBTI organised the Small is Bountiful around World Oceans Day 2020; one week of virtual events – open to everyone – and emphasizing the importance of small-scale fisheries for sustainable ocean.
